Volunteering is a fun and easy way to explore your interests and passions and I would like to extend a warm welcome from Enchanted. We are excited that you have decided to volunteer your time and talents to help further our mission. Doing volunteer work you find meaningful and interesting can be a relaxing, energizing escape from your day-to-day routine. Volunteering also provides you with renewed creativity, motivation, and vision that can carry over into your personal and professional life. One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people in need. It can also benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you to expand your network and boost social skills. Volunteering also strengthens your ties to the community and broadens your support network, exposing you to people with common interests, neighborhood resources, and fun and fulfilling activities. While learning new skills can be beneficial to many, it’s not a requirement for a fulfilling volunteer experience. We consider the most valuable skills you can bring to any volunteer effort are compassion, an open mind, a willingness to do whatever is needed, and a positive attitude. These qualities are essential for community engagement and helps youth and individuals re-entering society to further develop those skills.  There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available and we want your experience with us to be positive, fulfilling and lasting. Our project leaders strive to create a fun, safe and supportive environment in which volunteers can complete tasks with confidence. Together, we can make a difference while connecting with others in the community that share our passion for service.
